Both the interior and exterior of Frite Alors! are patterned on the Belgian comic strip style known as "Ligne claire " or clear line, and are created by our inspired designer.

The open kitchen and bar-counter concept favors personal contact between employees and patrons while presenting the impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen. Frite Alors! has nothing to hide!
The personnel, young and casual, are mostly from the university or artistic scene and contribute to the unique ambiance of our restaurants in Montreal. Many have tried to imitate, but few can replicate Frite Alors! It truly mirrors today's modern and cosmopolitan society
 


A little History!

An original Belgian recipe, coupled with a unique Montreal know-how, brings the nobility back to the fries! And from this clever combination was born Frite Alors! Its first Belgian style french fries location opened May 27, 1991 on Park Avenue in Montreal.

This hybrid restaurant, influenced by a mixture of European and North American cultures, has attracted a loyal and regular clientele for close to ten years. Reasonable prices for quality food, together with customer oriented personnel, have been the basic ingredients to its success.

Moreover, the original concept of the open kitchen at the heart of the restaurant and the relaxed atmosphere are key elements that consistently attract new patrons.
